The Consistency of Truth
It’s kind of impressive to me how many times I quote my Grandmother (Memaw) through my days. Something wise or funny will come to mind and I’ll smile at the simple truths she implanted in my life. If anything could be said of my Memaw it was that she was simple. Not in a derogatory or less than kind of way by any means. She grew up in a time where day to day conveniences were often time luxuries. She found beauty in what she could see around her. So, she came to love plants and nature. She taught me things that sometimes can’t be defined by science but without a doubt there’s truth to them. Like, “If you cook your meals and prepare them with love, they will taste better.” And, “If you sing and talk to your plants, they will grow better.” You couldn’t tell me any different now.
She taught me about consistency and truth. She taught me to be cautious in my actions. To listen more than I speak. She said if I learned to listen that I would eventually see the truth because there is consistency in truth and truth in consistency. And this lesson has been playing over and over in my spirit since Erin and I began studying and researching Twin Flames Universe (TFU).
I noticed the transition of their teachings when more and more skepticism regarding TFU was coming to light. In the beginning Jeff and Shaleia stayed true to form in their proclamation that a person could only find sincere happiness when they found their twin flame. They didn’t deviate from that. They taught that that our purpose here was to find our twin flame and eventually move into harmonious union with them. However, their teachings began to transition when individuals began to question an individual’s source of happiness outside of their twin flame. And then, when questions regarding the exact premise of their beliefs began surfacing, they began speaking and centering more teaching on “God”.
I asked Erin about the change in their teachings, and she said this, “Their messages evolve to hold onto members. I think as more people became disenchanted, they wanted to appeal more to a population that 1) doesn’t require scientific or professional fact to believe and 2) can be bullied into fearing unforeseen large-scale consequence. Using God was convenient to keep members in line and who would be equally malleable to their cause.”
And I agree. The change in the theoretical teachings that they promoted was noticeable. It seemed once people began accepting their promotion of God they took it a step further. Shaleia stated in one of their videos that God revealed to her that Jeff was taking the image of Jesus Christ. She literally said that the “image of Jesus is the image of Jeff. That’s the prophecy you’ve been looking for.” Hence, you see the transition from the clean-shaven Jeff to the long haired, bearded man we see today. They’ve taken it further with the promotion of their baby Grace and her communion with God, Himself. The progression has been alarming and truly should be broken down from the standpoint of having grandiose delusions and how that plays into different forms of mental illness. (I’ll leave that for another blog entry). There really hasn’t been any defined consistency in their overall teachings of Jeff and Shalia.
…and without consistency, there is no truth. I keep hearing my Memaw’s words play in my mind. “If it’s true today, it will be true tomorrow and the day after.” Truth won’t change to fit the greater opinions of others. It won’t continue to grow under the suspicions of others. Truth is just truth.
